Rio Grande Preparatory Institute will be hosting its First Annual Yard Sale and Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 6. The event will be open to the public and donations for the sale will be accepted starting next week.
RGPI is a specialized alternative high school in Las Cruces Public Schools that offers academic pathways in culinary arts, media, construction trades, HRTM, and career exploration in a project-based curriculum. The Yard Sale and Pancake Breakfast hopes to raise funds for the student activity account for prom, according to Principal Michelle Ronga.
The public is invited to drop off any donated items at the school, 2355 Avenida de Mesilla, anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. May 1 through May 5. RGPI’s Yard Sale and Pancake Breakfast will be Saturday, May 6 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the school.
